Ben Banton '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Benjamin Banton and I will graduating in the spring of 2022 from Franklin Simpson HIgh School.  I am a four year starter for the Franklin Simpson High School soccer team.  I am a multiple sport athlete.  As a multiple sport athlete I have not had the opportunity to maximize my full potential in the game of soccer.  With that being said, I ranked 12th in total goals scored in the state of Kentucky for the 2021 high school season according to the KHSAA Boys Soccer Stat Leaderboard.  I have played multiple positions on the soccer team over my four years.  Even though I have dedicated a lot of my free time to sports, I have not forgotten the importance of academics.  I currently have a 3.7 G.P.A and scored a 24 on my ACT.  My goal is to obtain a degree and play soccer in the process.  I am extremely competitive which drives me to be successful in the classroom and on the soccer field.  I practice and play every game to my fullest potential.  I am ready to go to work.
