Zach Schonwetter '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal for college is to continue playing the sport that I love at a high level while pursuing academic challenges in the fields of science, math, and/or computer programming. Academic achievement is important to me, finishing last school year with a 4.0 GPA. On the soccer field, I am an unselfish player who places the highest priority on uplifting my teammates and supporting team goals. I am versatile at many positions, having played striker and right midfield for most of my career. However, at the suggestion of my coach, I shifted to right back for our 2019-20 USYS National League games. As you will see in my video footage, my quick feet, speed, and hustle allowed me to excel at this position. I started every National League game, and I am proud that our team finished our games ranked at the top of our division. I look forward to bringing my technical skills, positive locker room presence, and leadership to your university.
