Hello, My name is Gavin Padgett. I am currently a Junior at Bath County High School in Owingsville, KY. My goal is to pursue my dream of playing soccer at the collegiate level after I finish high school.
I fell in love with the game of soccer at the age of 5, only missing a few years due to my family moving around a lot throughout my childhood because of my parents careers.I was born in Alaska, and I have lived in Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana and now Kentucky. Growing with each league, and learning to adapt to different coaches and coaching styles, has shaped me into the upstanding person and player that I am today.
During the off-season, I maintain my level of fitness through playing Commenwealth Soccee Club, as well as coaching youth league soccer, and taking time to participate in various soccer camps. I also hit the field as much as possible with friends and teammates playing pick up games, workouts, and other challenging drills.
I am constantly continuing to grow as a player and a person, while I maintain my 4.0 GPA, which I have sustained now since 5th grade. When I reach college, I am looking to major in either Architectural Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
I highly look forward to where my love of the game of soccer may take me, and I can't wait to either speak or meeting with you soon.
