Charlie Garrison '22 Recruiting Profile

I began playing soccer when I was 3 in a small church league.  Over the years it became apparent that I had passion and talent for the game, and I now can't imagine my life without soccer.  I've played at increasingly competitive levels and I desire to continue my growth and development in college.  Growing up, I've played multiple sports.  Sailing, swimming, and triathlons were some sports that I excelled at, but soccer and basketball made me the athlete that I am today.  I have played both sports my entire life, and the hardest decision I've ever had to make was to discontinue playing basketball to focus on soccer. However, what made these two sports stick out to me was the fact that they both are team sports. Team sports mean everything to me. The communication, strategies, rivalries with other teams, having your teammates' backs, friendships, and relationships are what built my love for the game. I feel that my dedication and commitment to teamwork will be my biggest contribution to a college team.
