Allen Dugas '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Allen Dugas, and over the past 5 years, soccer has become my life. It is my biggest passion and motivator. I have been playing since I was 8, but I never really took it seriously. Around the end of 8th grade year, however, it became a huge part of my life. My uncle loved soccer and he was sadly getting sick with brain cancer. Naturally, as I started to spend more time with him, my interest in soccer exploded. It was no longer just casual. Ever since them, I have been training by myself practically every day, I make every team session that I can and try my best not to miss practice or games. I pride myself on always trying to give 100%. Whether it's in practice, games, or the gym, I try to push myself and do whatever it takes to become a better player. I started playing competitive soccer late, in sophomore year was my first uninterrupted season, and it was rough. But I made it through it and have continued improving, made a better team junior year and then worked my way into the starting lineup for it quickly. My biggest strength is that I always work to achieve my next goal.
