The first thing I do when I step on the soccer pitch is think to myself, how can I impact this game? When I get the ball, how can I support my team? I always go into a game and come out with either a win or something to learn.
My name is Jake Dumont. I am 17 years old, and a US Soccer Development Academy player (Seacoast United U-18/19). I would describe myself as an attacking player, with great athletic ability, and skills ranging from finishing to passing. As a proud player of the game, I have been playing soccer since I was six years old. I have properly learned, and been taught the ways of the being an attacking player. My positive mentality and experience is what gives me an advantage over other players. I have experienced being a midfielder, out wide and in the middle. I also play as a striker, and in various formations. Those formations include being up top (4-3-3) and with another teammate (4-4-2). During these endeavors, I am constantly using my body and speed against the defenders, which gives me the opportunity to help in the most pivotal of moments. Athletics aside, I fully comprehend the importance of education. I am determined in my pursuit to find a college/university that will fit my needs both academically and athletically.
