My name is Douglass Starkey and I am a Senior at Marshwood High School in South Berwick, Maine. To the school I ultimately commit to, my primary goal is to use the team’s success as a measuring stick for my own accomplishments. I value leading by example as a team player, which I’ve found increases team performance and camaraderie both on and off the field. I strive to constantly enhance my skills and endurance year round, knowing there is always something new to learn and improve upon. I routinely maintain a high GPA in all of my honors classes.

I believe my qualities as a team leader combined with my skills on the field make me an excellent candidate for your team. I vow to always give 100% to my coaches and teammates. I will support and represent the team in the best possible light. By putting the team’s success above my own, I become a better player, teammate, and person.
