My name is Luca Melfi and I'm currently in my junior year at Bedford High School. I want to play competitive soccer at a top academic school. I take pride in everything I do, whether it’s in the classroom, on the field, or in my community.
I hold a perfect GPA and a 1530 SAT —taking all High Honors and AP courses. I haven’t decided what I’ll study specifically, but its within the STEM curriculum.
In soccer, I am a 2x time League All-star (1st team and 2nd), Varsity Captain, 3x Conference Champion, and a State Semi-finalist for my high school. I‘ve run track since 6th grade in many different events including XC country, the 1 mile, 800m, 4x400 Relay, and the 4x200 relay. I placed 2nd in the state for the 1 mile in 2019 along with many other notable placements in my high school years as described on my profile.
I am part of my school's Math and Chemistry Olympiad teams. I also volunteer weekly at my local food pantry.
