Hello, my name is Willem Gardiner but I go by Wylie. I am graduating in 2025. I am an A-B student that takes AP and honors classes, while playing 3 school sports and club soccer year round. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. I started playing goalkeeper when I was 8 years old and got hooked. I have also trained at ODP. I have played for multiple teams at one time, club and recreational, so I would play goalkeeper for my club team and play the field on my recreation team. Playing the field helped developed my foot skills and develop an understanding of each position, in turn helping me communicate to them while as a goalkeeper. My goal in college is to play and excel with the soccer team, while securing a good education and a life after I'm done playing. I want to major in sports management, so I can be involved with a team. In addition, a goal of mine is to become a coach. I've played for and practiced with teams two years or more older than me. I've also been captain of some of my teams and like to keep the intensity as high as I can. I think my skills and drive is a benefit to any team I join.
