I am a 6' 2" midfielder and forward from Hull, Massachusetts who will graduate in the class of 2014. I have started and played for my High School Varisty Soccer team my Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior year. In the first Varsity game of my Freshman year, I scored a goal after only 21 seconds of the opening whistle. During my Freshman year at age 14, I was also invited to play on the U-19 Galway Rovers Soccer Club, competing in the Maple league. Sophomore year, I was unable to complete my High School season after I suffered a ruptured spleen during our 5th game and was ineligible to return for the remainder of the season. I did however, score 2 goals and had 2 assists in my abbreviated season. In the Spring of my Sophomore year, I continued to play for the U-19 Galway Rovers, tallying 3 goals and 4 assists. Junior year, I was selected as Captain of my High School team and played a central midfield position, scoring 4 goals and having 7 assists. I was selected as a 2012 South Shore League Allstar. This spring of my Junior year, I will play with the Massachusetts ODP team as well as the Galway Rovers FC. On the soccer field I am known for my heads up play, explosive speed, ability to beat defenders with moves, my composure, ability to change the pace of the game, ability to use both left and right feet, my long and accurate throw-ins, ball control, and my on and off the field leadership. I am a strong team leader and always encourage myself and my teammates to give 110 percent both on and off the field. Soccer is my passion and I work every day to improve myself as well as our team. As soon as the season is over, I organize team practices and scrimmages at local fields or parks to help each individual player, as well as the team as a whole, improve. Senior year, I was again named captain, and received South Shore League All-Star, Eastern Mass All-Star, and an All Scholastic All-Star.
I am primarily interested in attending a college in the East with a strong soccer program. My plan is to attend a school with an Industrial Design program as well as Entrepreneurship / Business. Financial aid will be a critical factor for me and my family when choosing a college. I will proudly where the jersey of any Division II or III school but dream of playing for a competitive Division I team. My ideal school would have exceptional academics as well as a high level soccer program. I am prepared to be an exemplary student-athlete for any school I attend and to make a significant contribution to any team I play for, while continuing to learn, improve my skills, and play the game I a m fully invested in.
