After my last high school soccer game, I cried because such a significant aspect of my life was over. I don't want to stop creating amazing memories, so I would love to play in college and beyond. Soccer is incredibly important to me; for many years, I played for two teams year-round. I love playing soccer because not only is it fun, but I enjoy the physical and mental demands of the game. I take pride in learning athletic skills and new strategies. As I strive to become a better player, soccer teaches me how to be successful on the field. It improves my focus and concentration in school and on extracurricular activities. My coach always tells us: "My job is to make you a better person, then a better soccer player." He is right; both he and the game inspired me to grow as a person. I want to prepare myself for my future of becoming an architect. Not only do I want to get a master's degree, but I also want to play soccer while doing it. I'm a young kid who will be a freshman in college when I'm just 17, meaning there is a lot of time to develop me as a player before I would have to stop playing. I am a kid who has the heart and drives to be one of the best; I am always working harder and harder to become a better player, a better person, and a better role model for the ones who come after me.
