Nick Montoya '13 Recruiting Profile

I am interested in playing soccer in college. I am 17 years of age. I am five foot seven and 160 pounds. I have a quick step to get to the ball. I am a physical presence on the field, it is a rare occasion if I am knocked off the ball. I am not the tallest athlete, but I do not back down from larger kids. I have been known to win headers over 6 foot kids, which happens occasionally. I like to believe my passing skills are up to level if not higher, I can put the ball through tight spaces. My distance passes through the air are on target.I am not too stubborn on where I would like to play, I do not have a specific college that I desire to play for, a division one school would be phenomenal, but my goal is to play soccer in college division two and division three would be an outstanding achievement for me as a person. I am currently a senior at Edsel Ford High School in Dearborn Michigan, I participated in my third year of Varsity Soccer this year and i did fairly well at it, I started from the first game to the last, with an exception of 2 games due to an injury in my foot suffered in a rivalry game. I also play on a very talented club team, I play for Novi Jags U18 Green MRL NPL team and i usually play at right back or center back . I am driven to play soccer, I am always playing in my free time. I am not a "head case" on the field, what I mean by that is I am very composed, I do not let variables of the match affect me or my behavior. Thank you for you time, have a lovely day.
