Personal Statement

I used to play soccer as a hobby when I was young, but the more and more I would play, the more love I would have for the game. It gave me passion and a place for me to go and be myself. Every year that passes I dream about playing for top colleges and top MLS teams. I have not slowed down at any point in my life and I have a desire to go to the top level of soccer. I would be a fantastic player for your team because I will captain and coordinate where everyone should be and help them during practices and games and as well as lead by example.

I will be a one of a kind player, and I will put in the extra time and work every day to show that I am the best player on and off the pitch. I am very good at time-management and I can assure you I can make time to play as a captain on the pitch and keep my grades up off the pitch. I have a desire to play at the top level and nothing is going to slow me down

Competitiveness - Showed a strong desire to win and seems to enjoy the competition. Keep working hard! Coach's Comments Great attitude and a pleasure to work with at camp. Brandon brings energy to every session. His knowledge of the game and work ethic stand out. His awareness on the field and technical skills help him create opportunities for teammates. As a 2023 grad, he still has time to develop physically and has the potential to become and elite player. He has a bright soccer career ahead of him. Strength is going to help you handle challenges and gain better position. The college game is much more physical, so this will be an important asset for you. This will help you to transition from defense to attack when winning the ball back. Knowing when to play forward through the lines, and when to regain control for the team. In the defensive midfield position, the ability to stay calm under pressure and stress is important. Control the tempo of the game, understand that you’re a vital link in the team. Stay calm and composed.

Confidence - Great confidence, didn’t shy away when challenged at camp and played with a sense of urgency. Coach's Comments Quality player and, as a 2023 high school grad, one to be watched closely over the next 12-18 months for any college coach. Brandon is quick, technical, smart, and tough and gritty as a player. Excellent center midfield prospect and by Spring 2023, with continued physical growth and development, will be a very good potential college player The college game is much more physical, so this will be important for you looking ahead You are small, and so you also need to combat this by becoming so fit and so fierce that you are a huge positive for any team you play on; on both sides of the ball Good passing players are a dime a dozen; explosive players who can tackle and finish are not

Showed endurance that helped effectiveness, especially late. Speed - Great speed overall, in particular when running into space. Will be an important asset going forward. Mental Abilities - 92 / 100 Resistance To Stress - Maintains composure in pressure situations. Great job staying focused on the task at hand. Competitiveness - Showed a strong desire to win and seems to enjoy the competition. Keep working hard! Coach's Comments Brandon did a good job, especially with the conditions of the day. For as difficult of a day, he showed well as a CM. He did a great job of reading the game when playing as a CDM, would sit in front of the backline to protect the midfield. When he had the opportunities he didn't shy away from any tackles. Was comfortable on the ball and did well in possession. One of the better players on his team. Did a great job on the defensive side and would maintain possession for his team. At times I would like him to be more dangerous and willing to try things in the attack It can be difficult with the conditions and at camp, but continue to find ways to play faster. Playing against better players and older players on the next level the game will be more difficult As someone who was good finding space on the field and reading the game try to dictate play for the team by communicating more or asking for the ball.

Physical Abilities - 92 / 100 Explosiveness - Great quickness and explosiveness, especially in the first step or two. Strength - Did a good job handling challenges and played well shoulder-to-shoulder. Mental Abilities - 92 / 100 Competitiveness - Showed a strong desire to win and seems to enjoy the competition. Keep working hard! Confidence - Great confidence, didn’t shy away when challenged at camp and played with a sense of urgency. Coach's Comments I really like what I saw from Brandon. He does a lot of small things well. He receives it well as he Peaks well in tight spaces and has a good first touch. He is aggressive in the defense. And he would do really well at the NAIA level and D3/D2. I liked his hustle and he did a good job of transitioning from defense to attack to finding teammates feet. Good player. Upper and lower body will be needs as he’s not the biggest guy out there. A bit more communication would be helpful. He has a confidence about him that I think could allow him to really lead his teams. So don’t be afraid to take control of the team around you as you play.
