My plans after college are to help adults, more specifically professional athletes, who struggle with mental illnesses during times of stress. Now that we are in the digital age where social media is accessible to anyone with a phone or the internet, it’s been studied that it causes an increase in anxiety, depression, thoughts of self-harm, as well as suicidal thoughts due to people’s addiction to social media platforms like Snapchat, Twitter, and Instagram. I am also looking into the world of law and becoming a practicing attorney. All I really want to do is help someone who needs it, because in the end, that’s all that really matters.
