Evan Schwab '22 Recruiting Profile

I'm currently a Senior in High School. I  play basketball,  run track, and lift 5 days a week in the off seasons to keep myself in shape. As a junior, I was all state in the Long Jump (21' 7.5 Inches) and the 400m Dash (51.34). Although I have talents elsewhere, soccer has always been my #1. I have led the Harbor Springs Men's Varsity Soccer Team in scoring both my freshman (9 goals), sophomore (12 goals), junior (20 goals), and senior (17 goals) years. This past season, I earned All-District, All-Conference, All-Region First Team, and All-State HM honors. I have played for clubs such as the Dearborn Drive (now the Dearborn Jaguars), but was unable to continue due to our family moving. I now play for the Petoskey Lakers in Petoskey Michigan. I have a go - get attitude. If I want it, I will do whatever it takes to reach the goal I have set for myself. I try to keep everything in reach, moving step by step. Academically, I have always been a decent student. throughout High School, I have been able to maintain a GPA of 3.51 / 4.0, which I am very proud of. I have always been an honors student, and I have been involved with Michigan Youth In Government each year. This year, I have taken on student council as well. I first stepped on a pitch at the age of 4, and I always knew that I wanted to play in college one day. Soccer is my love, my passion, and I will do whatever it takes to prove my skills at the next level.
