Hello,
My name is Connor Passalacqua. I am currently an 8th grader at Perry Middle School, in Michigan. I am interested in division 1 and 2 soccer in college. At this time, I'm looking into a degree in Engineering.
I've been playing soccer for the Capital Area Soccer League for about a year and a half. I am utility player for my team, and feel like striker is my best position. I am equally effective as defense and mid-fielder.
My school does not offer soccer for 7th and 8th graders, so I heard about CASL and began playing with boys that I had never met. It turned out to be the best thing that had ever happened to me, athletically and socially. Our team is diverse and I have developed friendships that I wouldn't have, if my school had a soccer program. I encourage my teammates to succeed and we build each other up, using our wins and losses as learning experiences.
At the end of our Spring season, I had to try out to continue playing with my team. I was seen by coaches from several countries and was selected to play U15 with many of my former teammates. I don't turn 14 until this June.
Currently, I am carrying approximately a 3.00 GPA, and intend to improve my scores, in high school.
Thank you for the opportunity to explore options for my future.
Sincerely,
Connor J. Passalacqua
