Malachi Perkins '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Malachi Perkins. I am excited to have had the opportunity to play soccer at the college level and pursue a college degree in Sports Management. I am currently a sophomore at Saint Clair County Community College working towards a degree in Sports Management. I attended Olivet Nazarene University for the 2022 and 2023 seasons and was one of the top goal scorers both seasons. I lived in Orlando, Florida for 12 years where I learned to play soccer and had the opportunity to play on the South Orlando Premier Club Travel Team from 2018-2020. I led the team in goals scored and worked hard on providing assists to my teammates.

I attended Port Huron Northern High School from August 2020 - June 2022, playing on the Varsity soccer team both years. I led the team in goals during my Junior year and was named to the All-District First Team. In my Senior year, I led the team with 17 goals and 8 assists. I was named to the All-District First Team and Offensive Player of the Year. As much as I enjoy scoring and assisting my teammates, what I love about soccer is being a part of a team. I love soccer practice, workouts, drills, and the focus of working together as a team. I am looking for a college team that will provide me with these opportunities and I am excited for the next chapter to begin.
