I started playing soccer when I was 6, at 8 I was on my first club team and for the next 10 years I played soccer. The relationships and friendships I made during those times are ones I will always remember. I was lucky enough to play high school soccer with some of the same team mates I played with on club which was a very unique experience. I grew up playing soccer and those relationships and experiences help to mold me into who I am today.
Since I was young my goal was to always play for college, how could I love a sport so much and not want to aspire to play in college. As a child and even in to high school I was small, not like a little short, I was small. As a freshmen, I was almost 5'0" and weighed almost 100 lbs. I knew how difficult it would be to play college at that size but It didn't stop me from trying. Why do I tell you this small detail, so you can see I know what it means to work hard even when I can't see a favorable outcome, yet here I am a few years later and 6'0" scoring goals and aspiring to play in the collegiate level. I am not afraid of hard work and I see a goal and work towards it.
I am passionate, hard working and determined that no matter what the obstacle is, I will work to overcome it. This year my high school coach said that one of my strengths is that I am coachable, he can tell me something at practice or halftime and I can implement it in the game. I am positive that I can make an impact on your team ! It is what I have been working for my whole life and I look forward to this next journey of growth.
