Hello, my name is Caiden Bonds. I'm 15 years old and a sophomore at Chisago Lakes High School, class of 2026. My primary position is central attacking midfielder (CAM), but I am also good at playing on the wing, striker, and fullback positions. My passion for soccer began when I was nine years old, during the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The sight of people from diverse backgrounds coming together to support their teams and countries captivated me and inspired me to learn more about the sport.
My key strengths are my explosive speed and my ball control and dribbling. What sets me apart from other players is my ability to receive the ball and quickly transition into running down the field. I usually play the attacking midfielder role upfront in our team’s 4-2-3-1 formation, but I can switch to striker if we’re struggling on attack. My style of play is well-suited for breaking through defenses or sending intricate through balls to my teammates.
I was born in Maplewood, Minnesota, and lived there until I was seven years old. My parents and I then moved to Maryland, where I lived until October of this year. Living in different parts of the country has given me a better understanding of different people and cultures, which has helped me work and get along with a variety of people and teammates.
My Goal is to play on either a d1 or d2 team and go into pre law
I hope my statement has given you insight into the type of player and person I am. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
