About myself:
Sports:
As an athletic person, sports is an endeavor that comes naturally to me. My shape and balance athletic conditioning have helped me become a consistent starter skilled soccer midfield with every club and high school where I have joined. As a good vision, quick decision making, and excellent read throughout the whole field, my sense of ball passing is accurate with smooth and great velocity.
A year after joining Manitou FC club in 2017, I was fortunate to earn the MVP and have become the team captain since. The year before last year, Manitou FC team won the state championship in the soccer league; we then went on to play in the national level in Colorado and even though we did not make to the final, we did play competitive games with some excellent teams from all over the country. Last year and this year at my Saint Paul Central high school varsity team, we won the championship two years in a row and have the best record in the conference where I played as a midfield starter in every game that makes a huge difference leading our team to be that great. In addition, I was honored to be one of the most athletic players of the year in the years as joining the varsity team. Having the opportunity to play #6 both in Saint Paul Central high school varsity and the Manitou FC club teams, it gives me the best chance to see the whole field and make a better decision to where and when exactly to either make the calls in both directions or where to send the ball myself. It helps me understand better and gain more confidence every time I step on the field and touch the ball. I strongly believe all these will help my confidence as I prepare myself to the college and professional levels.
Traveling:
I love traveling. My family organizes trips out of state several times a year for showcases and higher level of tournaments. I have been to Florida, Indiana, Chicago, Missouri, Dallas, Colorado, and Las Vegas where I enjoyed and have learned a lot when I was younger. Last few years as I grew older with two younger siblings who also join soccer clubs and have been out of state quite a lot where I have learned from those earlier years to organize myself for most of the trips.
Family
Although my studies consume a lot of my time, I still enjoy family life. We make to camping a few times a year either my family alone or with a group. I have always enjoyed hiking and fishing with my two younger siblings. At home when I got a little bit of free time during the day, I love getting my little brother and sister out for soccer training. I love soccer and all kinds of sports. Training is my habit either by myself, with the team, my friends, coaching my two siblings, and/or those who are youngers.
Since I was 10 and started joining soccer clubs, my parents offer me a lot of wisdom. They taught me all kinds of basic soccer drills and then how to be modest and stable, so that my mood will not be affected by my environment. Their wisdom has taught me that life is short, and that I must use my time wisely in order to be one of the best soccer players and to accomplish my goals.
Future
I want to study computer IT and cyber computer because these two are not just related but a combination of today and the future’s world technology that will be used constantly in a useful way. Both of these aspects fascinate me. Becoming the best IT troubleshooter and cyber security in the world is a lofty goal, but improving global society with my intelligence and morals is even more of a worthwhile goal.
Something more
When I was a young kid before joining a soccer club, my mom asked me what I want to be when grow up. I remember saying that, I want to be a daddy because I love my dad so dearly. I saw my dad as a role model not just in term of being a good man but also athletic that loves most of sport and being able to play some of them. He would spend any time he had to play with me and taught me how to become a good and solid aggressive defender from the very young age. That early learning becomes my natural habit that led me to be who I am today. I wish I could have more opportunity to train with special coaches on many fronts such as attacking tactic, shooting, and/or others and if I should have that chance I would be even better. However, I have been quite busy myself not just with school but helping to coach my two siblings and then help my parents around the house whole.
Best Regards,
