My name is Parker Wellmann. I play for East Ridge High School in Woodbury, MN and Salvo Soccer club – 05 NPL. I have been playing soccer since I was 2 years old – competitively since age 5 when I was rostered to play with a team 3 years older. Soccer has always been a part of my life. It’s helped me to develop relationships, taught me determination and dedication, and challenged me to always look for ways to improve myself both physically and mentally. I am known as a team leader, and I look for ways to motivate and build up my teammates.
I am proud to say I am a two-sport athlete. I play both competitive soccer and basketball at the national level year-round. This has helped me to keep my body healthy and avoid the burn out that I hear about from teammates.
My goal is to play soccer at the college level, preferably D1/D2. I love to play the game and enjoy the people I’ve been able to meet through my experiences. I love rising to the challenge that each new competition brings. Academically I am interested in pursing a career in business. I am currently taking a college level math course and am active in my school’s Student Council and Key Club activities.
