My name is Brooks Richardson and I'm graduating in spring 2022. I'm a versatile soccer player comfortable in most any position on the field. I primarily play Center Defensive Mid or Center Back for both high school and club; but can fill a hole wherever needed as I've played outside back as well as striker when asked at ODP or even at ID camps.
I'm an unselfish player with great field awareness and vision and the strong ability to make decisions quickly. I thrive in the role of facilitator putting my teammates in positions to be successful. I'm physical, but fair and will put in the work necessary to track down the ball anywhere on the field. I play with a tireless energy covering the entire field box to box from the first to the final whistle.
My coaches describe me as a hard worker, very coachable and a dedicated player. My teammates have selected me as the most dedicated player each of the last three years; and in the spring of 2021 my coaches selected me to receive the "Admiral Award" (as a Junior) given to one player each year for work ethic, dedication, skill and leadership. My passion for the game, as well as my individual growth, is evident by my play. I want to find a school where I can grow both athletically and academically.
