I’ve been playing soccer since I was 4 and played until about 12-13u. Every team I played for I was a starter and all but one team I was the best player. When 13u season came around my dad pulled me out of soccer for baseball, I didn’t have a say in this at all. But last year I joined back soccer again for my junior year and realized how much I missed the sport and what the sport does for me. I’ve been able to have a lot of self peace and a lot more happiness since playing again. I train every day regardless of the weather with another player at my school Connor Dunnigan. Connor and I wake up at around 5:20 every day and go to the gym before school and then stay after practice to train more. I’m picking up some of the skills I lost and knocking rust off day by day, I’m just praying and hoping to break the plateau soon and shoot up in soccer.
