Hello Coaches/recruiters,
My name is Max Keef, and I currently attend Tilton School in the class of 2020. I am really loving Tilton, and my coach is very supportive. My first year at Tilton, I was a swing player(practicing on JV and playing games with Varsity). This past season, I started on varsity through the first half of the fall season, and then I did not play for the other half due to injury. This coming Senior Year, I have been named a team captain. I play as a right back, but I can really play anywhere on the field rather comfortably, as I will most likely play in the midfield for my school team.
One of my greatest accomplishments was two summers ago with my club team. We traveled to Indiana for the National Tournament. We ended up winning the tournament, which was very exciting for me. I learned that not only do you have to be a great leader, I learned that being a great teammate is more important. My passion has always been soccer, and I think that passion is very important.
What sets me apart from other recruits is my commitment to both academics and athletics. I have always been a great student, getting all A’s every semester. I work very hard to keep my grades up because I have come to learn that they are very important. I take my work very seriously, for soccer and academics. I also am very driven to succeed. I can be very hard on myself, which always causes me to do the best that I can. In terms of academic goals, I want to achieve high honors at the end of this year, next year, and my senior year. I want to go to an academically selective school because I want to challenge myself as much as I can. I am really determined to achieve my goals, and I will give so much to do so.
