Hi my name is Kuluberhan Mesfun and I am the youngest in the family with two older sisters. I loved soccer ever since I was a kid. I played basketball and lacrosse but I mainly only focused on soccer. I played for the mountain top league and my travel soccer team when I was a kid. I then started to play for Montclair United when I got older and also played high school soccer for all 4 years. 9th grade I was on the freshman team and I did not start however I kept on training. I went to go to Coastal sports NJ to get training from and I also went to the Varsity coach of west orange training camp to improve my skills in the game of soccer and it definitely paid off. I transferred to my current private school Pioneer Academy and I became a starting Varsity player for all 3 years. I did not give up once and I will continue to not give up and get better and better each time. On top of that I kept up with my grades and made sure I did not fail any classes and I did not for the past 3 years of going to Pioneer Academy. I even was put into honors classes and an AP class when I was a sophomore. I always keep up with my grades because at the end of the day I am a student athlete and the word student always comes first.
