Hello, my name is Aidan Browne. I attend Dumont High School in Dumont, New Jersey and will be graduating in 2023. I. I am a motivated, driven, and a hardworking player. My coaches have always complimented me on how I never give up and always play with heart. My hard work and effort have allowed me to be a varsity starter since my freshman year. My primary position is center defensive midfield. However, I have played outside back and attacking mid when my team needed me. I have been a captain of my high school team since junior year. I lead by example and support/encourage my teammates.
My goal is to continue playing soccer at a highly competitive level. On top of being a varsity athlete, I also play at the club level. I am currently playing for the World Class 04 ECNL team. I have been able to balance school, sports and a part time job. In school, I am enrolled in all honors classes and have maintained a 4.1 GPA.
Overall, I believe I would be a good candidate for any college. I feel like have proven that I am capable of balancing my grades and my athletics. No matter what college I attend, my dedication and commitment on and off the field will make me a good fit as a student athlete.
