Last year was my first year in the United States. I was a new junior at the Peddie School, NJ. I originate from the Turkish School System. In Turkey, I went to a private school named Hisar School. I was born into soccer in Turkey and grew up playing soccer with my friends in the streets every day. From 6 years old to 16 years old, I went to at least 80 soccer games of the team I support back in Turkey: Besiktas. It has been the biggest part of my life. Because of this reason soccer has a very different meaning for me. Every time I step onto the soccer field, I feel the magical sense it gives to me, literally talking to me, you were born to do this.
