My name is Vincent Ruvolo and am currently a senior at Hillsborough High School in Hillsborough, New Jersey. I have a 4.0 GPA and strive to maintain or do better through my senior year. In college, I want to major in the fields of Finance and/or Entrepreneurship with a minor in Engineering. I play for the U18/19 MLS Next team at Players Development Academy (PDA) and currently play right and left wing-back positions as well as center-back if and when needed. My speed and athleticism serve these positions and my team well. I have been with PDA since the age of 9 and started playing for USSDA at U12. I have now close to 7 years of experience playing at the highest most competitive level in the country, competing against other academy/MLS Next level teams. Each winter from U12 through U14 my PDA team and I would travel to Sarasota, FL to play at the AS Roma Showcase. In February of the U12 season, my team and I traveled to Rome, Italy to play against local Rome club teams, including the AS Roma youth team. The next year my team and I travelled to Boston for a friendly against the Manchester United youth team. Starting in the U13 year, my team and I traveled to North Carolina to play in the USSDA showcases. I played for the TSF Academy U16 MLS Next Team for the 2021/2022 season, where my team and I won the Northeast Cup Final in Queens NY. We then traveled to Dallas where we competed in the MLS Next Playoffs and had a great run. All these experiences contributed to who I am today as a player and helped to discipline me both on and off the field. I want to take my soccer career to the next level and play D1 soccer, get an excellent education, and ultimately play professionally. My journey thus far has developed my work ethic and reinforced the determination, discipline and perseverance required to be a top-tier player at the college level.
