Dear Coaches,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Gerson, and I wanted to take a moment to share my collegiate goals and aspirations with you. I believe that my unique combination of character, athletics, and academics makes me a standout candidate for your team. 

When it comes to my collegiate goals, I have two main aspirations in mind. First and foremost, I am committed to giving my all on the field. Soccer has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I want to continue growing as a player and contributing to a team's success. I am dedicated, hardworking, and always striving to improve my skills. 

Secondly, I have a strong desire to excel academically. Being a special education student, I have had an extensive amount of academical difficulties throughout my elementary, middle, and high school years. Through dedicated time, diligent studying, and assistance from my teachers and support staff, I have overcome the obstacles brought upon by my disability. The hardships that I have conquered has taught me not to give up and to strive to do my best in everything that I will encounter. I understand the importance of balancing my athletic pursuits with my studies, and I am committed to maintaining a high level of academic achievement. I believe that being a student-athlete is about excelling both on the field and in the classroom, and I am ready to put in the work to succeed in both areas. 

What sets me apart from other recruits is my character. I pride myself on being a team player, always putting the collective goals ahead of personal achievements. I am a natural leader, both on and off the field, and I thrive in situations that require collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. I believe in the power of teamwork and believe that the success of a team is built on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to excellence.

In terms of athletics, I bring a unique skill set to the table. I have a strong work ethic, a competitive spirit, and a never-give-up attitude. I am versatile and adaptable, able to play multiple positions and contribute in different ways to the team's success. Whether it's making crucial plays, providing assists, or being a vocal presence on the field, I am always ready to step up and give my best.
