Cole Sharpnack '22 Recruiting Profile

Coach,

My name is Cole Sharpnack, I am in the class of 2022. I play club soccer with SJEB Rush, and High School at Pitman High School. So far this year my club team has gotten much stronger as a whole and we will be faced with a coaching change before the next season. On my High School team, we will be losing a huge body count due to senior graduation but with rising upperclassmen, the roasters will be sure to fill out. Personally, my game has only improved and I have gotten only stronger myself as a player with the continued skills I work at. 

A big part of life is oriented around my family, after all, if it weren’t for the abundance of support and dedication from my parents I would never have the opportunities I have now. I can’t even begin to recall the numerous times they have driven me hours away just to play one soccer game just to turn around and drive home. Even off the playing fields, words can’t describe how thankful I am to have their support behind me at all times.

I am also very dedicated off the soccer fields and in the classroom toward my work to one day major in medicine or engineering. I have received honor roll for my freshman year in High School which was earned taking four honor level classes. My strength is in Biology and the sciences as I am taking honors chemistry sophomore year.  

Finally, my end goal for soccer is to have this sport take me to the highest level capable of me playing. I am very dedicated and committed to making this happen. Even in the fall season of club soccer I am running high school track to keep me in shape, in fact with training for track I was able to get my mile time down to 4:38 and place a 1:59 in an 800. Then when school lets out I am in the gym almost every morning to build more muscle and to get stronger to improve my game, not to even mention the extra touches I gain at the local soccer fields with my friends.
