Shane Nolan '19 Recruiting Profile

Since the eighth grade, I have dreamed about being able to play soccer at the collegiate level. I have learned how to work in a team environment and how to communicate well with others. Other then enhancing my people skills and my ability to work well with others, soccer has brought out a sense of leadership to my persona that has helped me excel in my school environment and maintain my high GPA. In addition, I am also a dedicated student, achieving high honor roll every marking period, as well as the annual Excelsior award for academic achievement above a 90 out of 100 in all classes for my Freshman and Sophmore year.  It is my goal to receive the Excelsior award for each year in high school

I have excellent ball handling and defensive skills. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
