Wil Buono '22 Recruiting Profile

Since the day I first touched a soccer ball at the age of five, I have developed a vast passion for the game and a strong devotion to constantly develop into a better player.  Now that I'm a junior furthering my high school career as a varsity addition, the next goal of mine is to play at the college level. I find myself most comfortable on the field as an attacking midfielder because of my ability to create opportunities for my teammates, distribute the ball, and my eagerness to join the attack. Although, I have scored a great amount in my career as a forward and I can get the job done as a center defenseman. I work at my skill set constantly and will continue to do so throughout my years of playing. I strive to excel off the field as well. My academic career is just as, if not more important. I maintained a 4.0 throughout my middle school years where I graduated salutatorian and have continued on a similar path in high school. I am ranked 43 out of 502 students with a 4.9 GPA. I am a hardworking player and student that will do anything to learn, improve, and succeed in my career.
