I was born in Ghana and came to the USA when I was six years old. I have played and loved soccer my entire life. It's really important to me to continue playing as I move on to college. My biggest strengths on the field are my speed and intuition. My coaches always comment on how well I see the field and anticipate what's going to happen, and I consistently beat my opponent to the ball and connect the ball with the back of the net. I'm a team player who is always encouraging others. I am also very coachable and easy to get along with.
I missed 2 weeks of my varsity season this year with an elbow injury but I'm back in action and ended the season with 19 goals and 3 assists in 13 games played. I led our team to the second round of playoffs, where we lost to a team that's top 4 in the state.
In addition to soccer, I play basketball and lacrosse at the varsity level. Earlier this year I was awarded with the 2023 All-Conference Sportsmanship Award for basketball. In the future I hope to bring my love of sports into my career in athletic training, teaching physical education, sports management, physical therapy, or maybe something else I don't even know is an option.
