As for high school winning the conference my senior year was a huge highlight of my high school career, only being the third time in school history that it was done. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete my junior year when I fractured both my ankles. That experience helped me become a better teammate and leader while being on the sideline for a couple of games. This was a huge factor into my leadership role which helped me get recruited by a college last year.
I was fortunate enough to get recruited by American International College, a division 2 team who play in the NE-10. With this last fall and spring season I was able to acquire a lot of knowledge about the game through my teammates and coaches. I am looking for a program in which not only feels like a family but has an amazing, home-feeling environment. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on the program which I end up at. As a three-sport athlete all throughout high school, I now know and understand what it takes to be a leader on a team that wants to win and sacrifice.
