As a student athlete, I welcome challenges both on and off the field. Playing goalie is as mentally demanding as academics, and everyday I strive to improve both. Becoming a starting goalie for my high school varsity team as a Freshman was an unexpected, but very welcome, challenge. Having played club soccer since the age of 7, I have always believed I would play at the college level. A few of my goals now include collegiate studies in languages, physics, and sports medicine, as I continue my desire to remain around the game of soccer as much as possible.
