Cole Barish, Forw...Personal Statement
My name is Cole Barish, and my goal is to play soccer at the highest possible level. I will be attending Combine Academy for a postgraduate year during the 2024-2025 season and will be entering college alongside the class of 2025.
I am a starting forward for my club team 05 Carolina Velocity NPL. My club team advanced to the NCYSA State Cup final in both 2023 and 2024, and won their division at tournaments including the Jefferson Cup, Charlotte Independence College Showcase, and the Southern Soccer Showcase.
I also play varsity soccer and basketball for my high school Thales Academy in Apex, NC, where I have served as team captain for my final two seasons. I have received recognition for my play, including multiple All-State (2x), All-Conference (4x), and Conference POY (2x) awards in soccer and all-conference in basketball.
I am a senior in high school and have a 4.00 GPA (4.35 weighted). I am interested in colleges with strong academics in the eastern United States. Please reach out to me if you have any questions about my background or interests.
