Personal Statement
I am (or try) to be leader. As captain of my schools soccer team, I always try to teach my team members sportsmanship and respect. To extend their hand as a sign of respect towards the opponent before throwing a fist, or saying something they might regret. As for school, it has never been one of my strengths, quite the opposite in fact. But I never give up. I understand education is an important aspect of prospering in modern-day society, so I will try my hardest to succeed academically.
