I have been playing organized soccer since I was five years old, but for me soccer started before that. I was raised in a soccer household. My dad played in High School. He was on the very first Soccer squad our High School had. He was injured during his senior season, but continued his input with soccer as a coach through the youth program. In 1999, he moved on to an unpaid assistant with the boys soccer team and then advanced to Head Coach of the girls soccer team. He held that position for 15 years. My older sister and brother played soccer as well. So I have been involved in soccer since I was born. I feel I have a high soccer IQ, and excellent ball handling skills. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I would like to continue playing soccer at the next level and I am willing to learn and improve my skills.
