2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
A defining time in my athletic career was during an injury I suffered early in my sophomore season. I had sharp pain in my hip that was unbearable to play with. The situation had me questioning how much further I could go with my favorite sport. I enrolled in PT hoping that I would be back for the beginning of my club season which was right around the corner.
Eight weeks into club season, I was cleared to resume activities at full go. I was greatly enthused and ready to get back on the pitch. This time off had made me extremely grateful for the joy I found in soccer, ready to go back with fierce determination and competitiveness. Stronger than ever, I am willing to fight for everything and give it my best.

- Luke played for DPA Cobras 06 Boys Showcase team for the 2020 post-high school season. They finished the season as league champions and were undefeated, with 35 goals for and 0 goals against them. Prior to that year, he and his entire DPA team played for DPA's pre-high school partner club, NWC Alliance, as NWC Alliance 06 Boys Elite.
- 2019 NWC Alliance 06 Boys Elite (OSYSA State League)
- Luke joined the NWC Alliance 06 Boys Elite in the fall of 2019. Unfortunately, their season was cut short by COVID-19, but at that time, their record was 4-1-1, placing them tied for 4th place out of 12 teams. It should be noted, however, that the 1st - 3rd place teams had all played 2 more games than DPA at the time of the season suspension.

- During the 2018-2019 U13 season, Luke's team won their league. Additionally, they won the Ohio President's Cup and represented Ohio in the Midwest Regional President's Cup in Overland Park, KS.
