I believe that my work ethic, skill, and athletic ability can enable me to be successful at the next level. I feel I have drastically improved and continue to improve since I gave up basketball after 10th grade to focus on soccer and to pursue college opportunities. I feel my best soccer is certainly ahead of me. Please see what my club coach has to say below:
As a coach, Jacob is player I love getting to work with. Jacob is a very unselfish and team-oriented guy and is willing to play whatever role in order for his team to be successful. He is a great teammate and also very coachable. As a player, Jacob is a big, strong athlete and does a very solid job at holding the ball up as a 9. He does very well when he can link up with his teammates and get himself in the box. He thrives at holding balls up, but is also multidimensional with his pace. With that, he can also play as a winger and get in behind defenders with his speed. Jacob is also a composed finisher and strikes a ball well with both feet. He has all the tools to be successful at the next level and will only continue to progress with his movement and finishing ability. I’m excited for his future and development as I know he will only get better and cause more problems for his opposition.
