I am currently a Junior at Jackson High School in Massillon, Ohio and will graduate in 2015. Academically, I enjoy all of my classes, but am most interested in the sciences, particularly physics and chemistry. I currently have a GPA of 4.3 out 4.0 and am enrolled in several advanced placement courses. I am very interested in pursuing a college education and degree in chemical engineering. I am looking forward to attending a college or university that will challenge me intellectually.
Although academics are my primary interest, continuing my soccer career at the college level has been a dream of mine for several years. Soccer is a very big part of my life and I am committed to contributing to a team in college and continually improving my level of play. I am well known by my coaches as a very versatile player and have filled many roles. Soccer is a team sport, and my goal is to serve my team in a way that most benefits the team, my coach and teammates. I have had many excellent experiences in soccer, including my recent opportunity to start as outside right defender for the ODP Region II team at the Interregionals in Sarasota Florida. We were excited to win that tournament.
I am looking forward to exploring schools that will provide the best fit for me academically, as well as athletically.
