My name is Jackson Jones, I am a rising high school senior in New Albany, OH, and I plan to compete at the collegiate level and take my game to new heights doing so. I am both an attacking and defensive minded FW, OM, OB, OWB, and FB.
I possess both the skills and the intangible characteristics needed to compete at the collegiate level. I take advantage of my pace, size, agility, range of passing, and critical thinking skills on the field to neutralize attacks, intercept passes and make solid tackles anywhere on the pitch. I also advance the attack from my outside back spot, I am dangerous in the counter attacks, I get into positions where I can send in an effective ball, as well as creating space to take a shot on goal or send dangerous balls in behind the opposing teams back line.
I am a person of high character and a natural leader. I enjoy having a good laugh but I also enjoy winning, being successful and helping others around me get better.
I am optimistic and have a growth mindset that has been helpful throughout my soccer career. I also have a grinding mentality. I can adjust to any level of play, and I will be the foremost version for not only myself but for the program I am a part of.
My commitment is to be a strong student and strong athlete as evidenced by my hard work and determination to excel in what I do.
