Nehemiah Tanga '18 Recruiting Profile

    As a student-athlete, I have matured physically and emotionally, progress I never would have foresaw happening in just four years. I had to face challenges like being knocked out of the league tournament in the quarterfinal and semifinal stage my freshman and sophomore years.  These experiences motivated me into increasing my rigor in training (during workouts and in the off season), in hopes to strengthen myself into a more dynamic and complete forward.

    I was blessed to round off my high school career successfully, winning the league title my junior year and finishing 2nd my senior year. These last two years taught me valuable principles of discipline, team-work, and leadership which I will be using to expand my future and carry into the next stage of my life. I am looking for the right college to not only challenge me physically but also academically, in order to help me grow into a better athlete and man. Utilizing a team first mentality, my talents alongside my values of determination, leadership, commitment, and focus can be used as a great asset for a college program. Captaining my team at the high school and club levels have given me valuable experience as a leader, ensuring my talent and work rate would make me perfect for your team!
