Ben Bartschy '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches my name is Ben Bartschy and I am currently a Senior at St. Francis de Sales High School in Toledo, Ohio.  My passion is and has always been soccer. I've been playing since I was 6 years old and never have never stopped loving it through the ups and downs of my seasons.  I play club soccer for Pacesetter SC and high school soccer for St. Francis de Sales.  My collegiate goals and aspirations are simple, use my skill and determination to play college soccer and earn an undergraduate degree in law/business.  I would not only love to be a part of a collegiate team but create a future by building relationships with my teammates that will last a lifetime.  Playing for a national championship is every young boy's dream and I believe that I can make that dream become a reality.  I have dreamt about being a professional soccer player my whole life and this is the next step to achieving my dream. The thing that makes me different from other players is my playing style on the pitch, my self-confidence and grit, and my hard work and determination on and off the field. Having the honor of being a captain for my team last year, shows that coaches believe that I am a leader who they are dependent on to lead the team in the right direction. Also, I have been told by many coaches that I am a consistent and coachable player who they enjoy being around.
