I started playing soccer when I was young because my parents wanted me to get involved in sports. Over the years, playing soccer became my choice because I've learned to really enjoy the sport and the team environment. Currently, I'm playing for Tulsa Soccer Club's ECNL Regional League team. Besides my soccer skills, I've always felt like I've been a good teammate as well as a coachable player. Something that you wouldn't be able to see from just viewing my profile is that I'm a very unselfish player. This whole COVID situation has made me realize how much I truly enjoy the game and can't afford to take for granted any opportunity to get out on the field. I do realize that there are two sides to being a college athlete. In the classroom, I give my best effort as well. I enjoy learning and being around people that are different than myself and can bring another perspective with their ideas and backgrounds. I'm looking forward to visiting with college soccer coaches to see how I can be an asset to their program.
