My goal is to be the first person to attend college in the United States from birth family. I was adopted at the age of 13 from Ethiopia by my parents. Soccer was the most consistent part of my life until I was adopted and I want to continue playing as long as I can. I know what a privilege it is to get an education. I have had to work hard my whole life. I intend to work as hard as a collegiate student athlete. I am a 6'1" forward. I will graduate in 2020 from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma . Broken Arrow High School is the largest 6A school in the state. I have been on the varsity team since I was a freshman. We won state my freshman year and while I didn't start I played a considerable amount of time in each game. I run an 11 second 100 meter. I am looking for a college that has small class sizes. Ideally, I would like to join a team where I could make an immediate impact. I believe my best fit academic would be a Junior College or NAIA school due to my English as a second language status.
