My name is Kai Goh. I’ve been playing soccer since the age of three. This game has been my entire life and I have dedicated myself to playing at the collegiate level and beyond. I grew up playing in a League1 Canada club Blue Devils FC and spent a lot of my youth around players and coaches who have competed at the highest levels of the game.
With our club, I train and play at three age groups - this past year I captained our U16 OPDL team, and trained and played with our U17 OPDL and League1 U20 teams. Our teams have won multiple championships over the years, and I’ve had the chance to play professional academy teams from around the world such as Stoke City (3-3 draw) and Manchester United ET (2-0 win). I have been the captain of 2008 Blue Devils FC and Oakville SC teams ranked among the top teams in the nation by GotSoccer and FTF.
I believe in leading by example both on and off the field. I train and compete with intensity. I’ve spent thousands of hours off the field on my technique, and have always worked hard in the gym on my strength, mobility and conditioning. I love the game and when I am not playing or training, I love to watch all levels including our League1 team and my favourite professional club Arsenal.
I have compiled information for both my soccer and school experience at https://www.kaigoh.ca including:
• Soccer & Academic Resume
• Video Highlights
• Upcoming events I am playing in
• Coach & Academic Commentary
Finally, I want to share my favourite poem that I have read over and over since I was a boy. It’s how I choose to live and compete.

The Champion’s Creed
Never underestimate your opponent.
Work on your weaknesses until they become your strong points.
Remember that a great effort is usually the result of a great attitude.
Dedicate yourself to a mighty purpose.
Win with humility; lose with grace.
Ignore those who discourage you.
Work to improve your moral and spiritual strengths as well as your physical ones.
Remember that how you conduct yourself off the field is just as important as how you conduct yourself on the field.
Talent is God-given; be humble.
Fame is man-given; be thankful.
Conceit is self-given; be careful.
Don’t ask to be deprived of tension and discipline. These are the tools that shape success.
Do what has to be done when it has to be done and as well as it can be done.
Remember that when you are not working to improve, your competition is.
Always do your best.
Practice like a champion.
Play like a champion.
Live like a champion.
