Personal Statement

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. Since I first touched the ball, I aspired and dreamed of playing professionally. So I know a step toward that big dream is to play at the collegiate level. Playing at college is an experience I want to be able to cherish.

My strengths on the pitch are being vocal, being a leader that can listen and take criticism to improve as one, pass distribution, dribbling, scoring, and being a pest while defending to make the opponent lose focus and turn over the ball. I am very coachable and will always strive for improvement on and off the field. I am not afraid to speak about the issues that are happening on the field and won't sugarcoat the flaws of what is happening throughout the match. I tend to always find a solution on what to fix and how we can fix it. Furthermore, I'm great at motivating the team when things aren't going in our favor and if the team morale is gloomy.

In the classroom, I try to maintain a high GPA so I won't have to risk not being able to play because of my grades. I'm a great listener and always show respect toward my teachers and peers. I also am part of Christian Leadership at my school.

The main drive why I want to attend college is because it is a step closer to my dream. However, that's not all. My other drives are that college will be able to lend me a chance to better myself as a human while improving as an athlete. It also will make me push myself not just physically but academically as well. I am open to many options to help me find what's best for me. But I do want to play at the highest level of competition to put my name out there. I hope to be a role model for others and somebody that people can look up to while making my family proud of how far I've come and accomplished.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
