Wyatt Oldham '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Wyatt Oldham. I am 17 years old and going into the 12th grade for the 2017-2018 school year. I am 6ft 7 inches tall and weigh 200 pounds. I currently play goalie for the Cascade Rush Futbal U19 team. I am left footed. I play on my High school team. I play a couple different positions on the team, goalie and CDM. I recently changed positions on my High school team to play the defensive midfielder postion to better support the teams needs and gain some diversity. I have been starting varsity since my freshman year. I have been playing soccer since I was 6 years old. I have played many different positions on the soccer field. Soccer has taught me the meaning of perseverance. It has taught me to never give up. I enjoy being goalie because it challenges me to use my heart more than my head. To trust my instincts and training. My family is a military family. My dad is a Marine. It was my dad's love of sports that has driven me to play sports. My love of the game is fueled by the support of my family and my drive for a better future for myself.

In college I want to study sports medicine. My ultimate goal is to train children to play sports safely and implement my education on how to prevent injuries.
