Ethan Westerdahl '23 Recruiting Profile

I'm Ethan Westerdahl, I’m a junior at Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and graduate in 2023.  I was born in Miramar, Florida where I grew up playing tennis and soccer.  My mom is Argentinian and from a very young age I was introduced to the game of soccer and developed a passion for playing, practicing my skills, and watching my favorite teams and players, especially the Argentinian national team. My family and I moved to Portland, Oregon in the 8th grade where I played for the Westside Timbers US Development academy and continue to play for the Westside Timbers (05) Copa red club team.  I'm currently a junior at Lakeridge HS and play varsity soccer and tennis.   I play left-back as I'm equally comfortable using my left and right foot and have the size, speed, and skill set to match up with wingers.  When I'm not playing soccer or tennis, I'm either studying or working.  I work part-time on the weekends as a busboy at Nicoletta's Table, which is an upscale Italian restaurant and market. In college, I plan to study business administration as I'm interested in stocks and finance.  I'm easy going, I enjoy being around other people, I enjoy helping my teammates, I’m motivated to keep improving, develop new skills, perform under pressure, and most of all, I really like to win.
